Custom Fabrication
One of my absolute joys is collaborating with other artists to create new and innovative apparatus to help enhance the movement and the story that wants to be conveyed. I've worked with movers and dancers throughout my career and have an instinctive feel of how the body works. I couple that instinct with my training as a technical designer and try and push back at our conventional expectations. Whether its a 25' tall aerial wall that rolls down to become a stage for Streb, creating a rigging system that allows performers to leap 10' in the air or scramble up vertical surfaces without any assistance offstage, or the beam shown here built for the Atlas Circus Company with a moving pick point that changes the balance with every inch, there's always a little something unexpected. Costs are determined through a collaborative design process where the clients input is absolutely invaluable and I make sure that the estimates and budgets have as much transparency as possible. Please give a call if you want something truly out of the ordinary for your next performance!
